This is the checklist your cleaner works from. It matches what property managers inspect. You receive a signed copy when the clean is complete.

Kitchen

  • Oven interior and exterior degreased
  • Rangehood filters cleaned
  • Cooktop, splashback, and benches scrubbed
  • Sink and taps cleaned and dried
  • Cupboard fronts wiped, insides wiped where empty
  • Dishwasher interior cleaned
  • Floor mopped and edges detailed

Bathrooms and laundry

  • Shower screens, tiles, and grout scrubbed
  • Bathtub descaled and polished
  • Toilet bowl, base, and cistern sanitised
  • Vanity, basin, and taps cleaned
  • Mirrors streak-free
  • Exhaust fan covers cleaned
  • Laundry tub scrubbed, dryer lint trap cleared

Bedrooms and living areas

  • Carpets vacuumed throughout (steam cleaning quoted separately)

  • Light switches, power points, and door handles wiped
  • Windowsills, tracks, and frames cleaned
  • Blinds dusted or wiped
  • Built-in wardrobes wiped inside and out
  • Cobwebs removed from ceilings and corners

General and exterior

  • All internal doors and frames wiped
  • Internal glass and mirrors cleaned
  • Garage floor swept (if applicable)
  • Balcony or patio swept (if applicable)
  • Light fittings dusted
  • Air conditioning vents wiped

If the agent isn't satisfied, we come back.

If your property manager raises an issue with the clean within 72 hours of the inspection, we return and address it at no extra charge. We bring the signed checklist, compare it to the agent's feedback, and fix anything that was missed.

You get the signed checklist

A room-by-room record of everything that was cleaned, signed by the lead cleaner. You hand it to the agent at the inspection.

Everything tenants ask before booking.

How far in advance should I book?−

We recommend at least a week before your move-out date, but we can often accommodate shorter notice. End-of-lease cleans are high demand around the end of each month, so earlier is better.

What if my agent has their own checklist?+

Send it through when you book. We'll work from their checklist rather than ours, so the clean matches exactly what they inspect against.

Do you do carpet steam cleaning?+

We can arrange it as an add-on. It's quoted separately based on the number of rooms and carpet condition. Most agents require a separate carpet cleaning receipt, which we provide.

How long does an end-of-lease clean take?+

A standard 2-bedroom apartment takes 4 to 5 hours. A 3-bedroom house is usually 5 to 7 hours. Larger properties or properties in poor condition may take longer, which we'll confirm at the quote stage.

What if the agent fails the inspection?+

If issues are raised within 72 hours of the inspection, we come back and address them at no extra charge. We compare the agent's feedback against our signed checklist and fix anything that was genuinely missed.

Do I need to be there during the clean?+

No. Most tenants hand over keys or arrange key-safe access. We lock up when we're done and send you photos of the completed clean along with the signed checklist.
